Captain Keith Hunt has fished the waters off Montauk since he was seven years old. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Transportation from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. After graduating in 1994, Captain Keith worked as a survey boat captain before returning to his first love, fishing. He mated on Montauk’s finest charter boats, including the Marlin V, Adios, Blue Fin IV and The Montauk, before becoming Captain of the Blue Water in 1999. 

In 2007, Captain Keith launched The Capt. Keith, a Montauk sportfishing boat, and quickly became one of the most popular captains in Montauk fishing. As Captain of The Capt.
